true titanic love

What is the height, of a great love……?

Is it till the tip of the earth’s highest mountain, the Mount Everest?,where it is  hard to breath, still its an amazing soul filling pleasant experience…as we are fusing with the white puffy clouds in whirl wind.

What is its depth?……..depth of the most dearest love?

till the deepest pit of the North Atlantic ocean where the fossils of  titanic rests with frozen deep sighs …

What is its width …….width of the widest love ever evolved?

Is it in our loving hearts, where the bubbling imagination has no end…as we walk in air.

What is its length…..the length of the longest love..?

So called the eternal love?

Is it……till my last……our breath..

…till my heart beats for you…

infact,we cant measure the love…till ceases to have it.

The cocoon

(painting by Nils-udo)

Pleading for your art…………

It is your art……

the warmth of the strokes,

brought me into being

with tears of joy…..

You painted my  sky

placed beautiful stars in it,

and smiled as moonlight

to sleep in your lap,

to dream in  my  solitude.

With your feathery touch

made me regressed

into your womb,

knowing no threat…

in the silent,still water.

Let me dip my face

in your canvas of  caress,

as the wave foam does it on the seashore

with an unending craving….

Under the ‘SUN’ light

In psychology, cogintive dissonance,  is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time; performs an action that is contradictory to their beliefs, ideas, or values; or is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas or values.

There were studies on how humans strive for internal consistency. An individual who experiences inconsistency tends to become psychologically uncomfortable, and is motivated to try to reduce this dissonance, as well as actively avoid situations and information likely to increase it.

Being a doctor I have this cognitive dissonance related to my own profession. Many of the doctors are prescribing medicines to their patients for satisfying the interests of pharmaceutical companies. They believe that to become a reputed or famous practitioner, they need a kind of secret tie up with pharmaceuticals. Many of the doctor’s conferences, activities of association of doctors  are getting sponsored by pharmaceutical companies. In addition, these companies are paying money to individual doctors for their flight tickets and accomodation,if they are attending conferences at distant places within the country or abroad. The situation has worsened so much so , that being a member in a doctor’s association means an indirect tie up with  pharmaceutical companies.(I must admit that very few doctors and associations are free from the grip of the pharmaceutical companies)

The artist Garip Ay use a traditional Turkish art form, known as Ebru art, or marbling, to paint Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ and ‘Self-Portrait’ on water. Marbling is the practice of applying paint to the surface of thickened water and creating patterns and images by manipulating the paint. The water, in addition to being thickened by carrageenan powder, was colored black for this project.

stirring up my passion

(painting by peihang-huang)

In the dim light of the dusk,

I opened up the rusty door…..

Instead of rusting out

better to wearing out…..

I cried out… me,

to be free…..

from the illusion of wrong doing,

Can any one hear me?…..

Then, he came up,

with his fiery wings,

to flare up  my heart

in its hidden passion,

And crushed me…

to dissolve into the ecstacy,

to walk on air……

The cool chaser

(painting ,coutesy, Amanda Dinan)

As the distant blue sky, flying to

fuse into the alluring blue sea,

when the montage of many suns and moons

reeling off into the depth of the valley,

In the night sky, amidst the kissing snow flakes ,

with the chills of my heart,

carry on,with the reminiscence of your

ever warming love,swiftly,

soaring on my wings, with an eager eye,

……forever, forever

……just for you.

The mystery

(painting by Salvador Dali)

the mystery is my story

And the mystery makes ‘me’ alluring,

I dont know,who I am….

I am mysterious,

I am like a picture,

the picture has 4 equal parts,

1 part is visible to everyone,

2nd part visible only to me,

3rd part is visible only to you,

and the 4th part is missing…..

I am searching for the 4th part,

without that I am incomplete

this is my story

my mystery

The Distant blue sky….

When I look into her eyes,

sparkling through the slit of  the Burka,

I could see her soul,

It was like  clear tear drops….

untouched by the dirt of  the  deadly world.

She was talking a language of the mountain

so natural, yet with so many sharpened rocks,

hard to understand,or hold it,but

when I listened to it……

I heard a song of love,as sharp as a diamond knife,

cutting my dull dawn with its sparkling rays.

I was scared of loosing my heart,

Her glance….  powerful with a serenity

like the golden rays beamed  down through the clouds,

searching for a  distant blue sky.

I said…I am scared…you are like a volcano

She said,dont be scared,I am not a volcano….

just a pile of ashes , forbidden to fly into the sky,and

within my burka (parda),there are many tubernacles.

If you wish, sacrifice  your own self, here, with me,

I can be your soothening  melting lava, and

Let me tear it off this mask, with your loving hands….

Dont you see ,how much I wanted to be free….

free from their bondages,ideologies,

Save me from their hands, dont you see these two tear drops,

My wings are already broken.

My days are darkened….

With a deep sigh,she said…..

but still,I can see the blue sky in your eyes.

Sense of control

( a facebook image)

People lose their sense of control when there is a disaster……..

Help people to use their natural coping mechanisms to regain a sense of control:

–  Get enough rest

–  Eat as regularly as possible and drink water

–  Talk and spend time with family and friends

–  Discuss problems with someone you trust

–  Relax: walk, sing, pray, play with children

–  Exercise

–  Avoid alcohol or drugs, caffeine, nicotine

– Attend to personal hygiene

–  Find safe ways to help others in need.

And live life as  normal as, before the disaster.
